More than 2,000 without power in the Kenansville area | WCTI

A power outage has left thousands of homes and businesses in the dark in one eastern North Carolina county. Due to a power outage in Kenansville, officials said most Duplin County offices do not have power or phone service at this time. Because of that, services at each department may be limited or temporarily unavailable. The Duke Energy outage map shows that 2,423 customers are without power. Electricity is expected to be restored later this morning.

We have been without power since around 2 am and reported it around 3 am. Was told it would be back on around 4 am. It is 7 am and still no power at 543 Hallsville Rd Beulaville NC 28518.
