Duke Energy reports outages in Pee Dee as severe weather rolls through | WPDE

Duke Energy Progress is reporting roughly 6,000 customers are dealing with power outages in the Pee Dee following severe weather. The outages are widespread in Florence and Williamsburg Counties. Duke Energy is reporting more than 3,200 homes in parts of South, East, and West Florence and in the Effingham area of the county Sunday afternoon following a thunderstorm that brought along with it high winds.
