The tornado touched down along Mayers Road where a large tree was uprooted with minor damage to the undercarriage of a modular house, as well as sporadic large tree limb damage. The tornado continued into a wooded area crossing over the Tangipahoa River and Louisiana Highway 443. The tornado continued to the east leading to the most significant damage along Averett Road. Multiple metal sheds were destroyed. A large metal carport was ripped off, peeling some of the roof of a modular home off with it. Portions of this carport were thrown over 250 yards. Power lines were knocked down, along with one snapped tree, and multiple tree limbs down. A trampoline was also thrown 200-300 yards. The tornado continued to the east, crossing over Bailey Loop Road, leading to additional tree damage and one uprooted softwood tree. In addition, multiple smaller metal sheds were destroyed with the metal being carried 100-150 yards. The tornado lifted at Louisiana Highway 445.
