Local law enforcement had several reports of trees and powerlines down in Mission. The peak wind gust at McAllen/Miller Airport was 43 knots (48 mph) at 1935 CST, but from the multiple data reports it is assumed that pockets of wind reached 50 knots or higher in portions of Mission.
