Strong Wind. Windy conditions developed ahead of and immediately behind a line of severe thunderstorms. Sustained wind speeds of 25-35 mph gusted frequently from 40-50 mph at times. Trees and power lines were knocked down as a result of the winds.

Thunderstorm Wind. Tin roofing was partially blown off a store in the downtown portion of Boaz. Multiple trees and powerlines were reported down as well. Time was estimated from radar.

A band of thunderstorms developed along a cold front during the mid afternoon hours. One of the thunderstorms knocked down trees & powerlines in the Boaz area. This same storm also tore metal roofing off of a building in that same area in Marshall County.

Thunderstorm Wind. Numerous trees were knocked down at the courthouse in Guntersville. At least one of the oaks was 100 years old which fell and damaged the fenced in county memorial area. Power was knocked out in parts of the county.
