Dozens of trees downed from strong thunderstorm winds in the town of Athens. The damage occurred in the area of Mile Lane Road, Mill's Pride, and the airport. There was also numerous power outages.

Thunderstorm winds brought numerous trees and wires down in Athens, South Waverly, and Sayre. 2000 residents were left without power in Milltown. There were also reports of some minor flooding on Fulton Street in South Waverly.
