Straight line winds knocked down trees and power lines across Madison County.

April 25, 2011 - Thunderstorm Wind

Straight line winds produced widespread damage from the Crockett County line to the Jackson area. Numerous trees and power poles were knocked down. At least two houses sustained damage from fallen tree. A steeple was blown off a church. In Jackson, a nursing home sustained damage from fallen trees. Numerous trees and power lines were also knocked down in the city of Jackson. A fence door was also broken at the hinge by the wind.

Straight line winds knocked down trees on Browns Church Road and Beech Bluff Road. Several areas in the city had power lines knocked down. Power lines were also knocked down off Old Medina Road just north of Interstate 40.
