A strong low pressure system moved northeast from Southern Missouri during the day on February 11, 2009. As the low pressure system moved northeast, a trailing cold front pushed east across the area. Strong gradient winds behind the cold front knocked down numerous trees and power lines. Other roof and sign damage occurred as well.
