Thousands of people are without power across southern Idaho Tuesday morning after a day of heavy winds. Idaho Power's outage map shows customers without power in Boise, all around the Twin Falls area, and eastern Idaho getting hit especially hard. Most of the outages showing a resolution time estimated before noon on Tuesday. On Monday, severe winds between 30 and 60 miles per hour knocked down trees and caused many problems for truckers and other motorists.

Power outages are affecting Idaho Power customers in Boise, Eagle, and Caldwell following the storm. In Eagle 1131 customers were affected. Crews are onsite and restoration is estimated at 10:30 p. m. Friday. In Boise 371 customers were affected. Crews are onsite and restoration is estimated at 10:30 p. m. Friday. In Caldwell 70customers were affected. Power has now been restored. Even KBOI felt the power outages initially. The outage left us without a 9 p. m.
