An EF0 tornado that occurred at an aquatic facility destroyed a small aluminum shed and also downed powerlines and a few trees.
Bitter cold air and wind overspread SE Texas behind and Arctic front on Valentines Day with wind chill indices below zero for much the period from Sunday night to Tuesday morning. Increased power demand, wind and ice led to widespread power outages. Bursting pipes caused many to be without water as well.
Trees and power lines were downed in the CR 322 and CR 324 area.
Severe thunderstorm winds caused barn and residential home damage, flipped over camper trailers, downed power lines and tree damage. Reports were of major barn damage with debris from the barn striking and damaging a nearby home. A 100 year old oak tree was blown down in the town of Caldwell. The location of the majority of damage was west of the town of Caldwell and in western potions of Burleson County, but specific locations are unknown.
Numerous reports of wind damage in Burleson County. Trees and powerlines downed along FM 1362 in Caldwell and trees downed along County Road 268 near Snook.
