Thunderstorm downburst winds estimated at more than 60 mph caused a swath of damage from Canfield to Poland along the U.S. Highway 224. Dozens of trees, large limbs and utility poles were downed. Several thousand electric customers lost power during the storm, some for as many as 12 hours.
