Planned power outage to affect over 600 Haywood EMC customers on Jan. 27 | WLOS

Several hundredHaywood Electric Membership Corporation (EMC) customers will be affected by a planned power outage this week. Caption: Planned power outage to affect over 600 Haywood EMC customers on Jan. 27. The power company announced Duke Energy has requested a power outage that will affect 649 Haywood EMC customers in Jackson County, North Carolina as well as approximately six members in Oconee County, South Carolina. SOFTWARE ERROR CITED FOR HIGH ELECTRIC BILLS IN WAYNESVILLE.
