Em reported power lines blown down and causing a structure fire on Howard Sipe Rd in Conover and numerous trees and power lines blown down between Claremont and Catawba.
Several trees and power lines were blown down in and around Newton. An outbuilding was blown into Dellinger St 3 miles south of town. Power lines were also blown down on Old Island Ford Rd in Claremont and multiple trees were blown down near Bunker Hill Covered Bridge.
