Thunderstorm winds blew down numerous large tree limbs, trees and power lines between Centralia and Salem. Half of Centralia was without power for a few hours due to the downed power lines.

Storm spotters reported wind damage in the Vernon area. A barn was damaged and trees were downed 3 miles west northwest of Vernon. More trees and power lines were down at 2 other farms northwest of Vernon.
Storm spotters reported 3/4 inch hail east of Centralia. In Centralia, thunderstorm winds downed some trees, large limbs and power lines. A tree was reported on a house in the 500 block of West Seventh Street and a tree was reported on fire from downed power lines near the intersection of South Perine Avenue and Magnolia Drive. Power lines were down along West Broadway in front of and in Fairview Park Plaza Shopping Center and in the 1200 block of East Third Street.
Thunderstorm winds downed numerous trees and large branches in Odin. Several homes and garages suffered roof damage from the downed trees. Local law enforcement reported trees and power lines down east of Sandoval.
The County Sheriff Department reported numerous trees and power lines down across parts of Marion County. In Centralia, one man suffered minor injuries when the pick-up truck he was driving was struck by a falling tree.
Emergency management officials reported trees and power lines down from thunderstorm wind gusts. A barn at the county fairgrounds was damaged by a falling tree. Several homes had roof shingles blown off by the wind. The crossing arms at a railroad crossing were broken by the wind. 3/4 inch hail also fell with the storm.
