Reports from around the county indicate that between one quarter and one half inch of ice accumulated on tree limbs and power lines across mainly the northwest half of the county.
A machine shed was destroyed 6 miles south of Clay Center. Numerous trees and power lines were also down in the city of Clay Center.
Report from EM estimated another .20 to .25 of ice accumulation from freezing rain Sunday night into early Monday morning. Report was from Clay Center. Some sporadic power outages remained early Monday morning from the cumulative impact of the ice accumulation over the weekend.
