October 24, 2005 - Tornado

Tornado reported by Ochopee Fire Rescue near intersection of Tamiami Trail (US 41) and State Road 29, moving rapidly northwest. Tornado moved through Copeland, 3 miles north of the intersection, causing damage to power poles and transformers, slightly damaging structures, and uprooting large trees. The tornado was associated with an outer band of approaching Hurricane Wilma.
