Eddyville Power Outages Caused by Weather

Four power poles with transformers were blown down.
In Eddyville, large tree branches were down, along with some power lines. A trampoline was blown about 200 yards. At the intersection of U.S. Highways 641 and 62, debris was blown into power lines. Trees were down on U.S. Highway 641 just north of Eddyville.
In Eddyville, a trained spotter heard branches breaking off trees as the power went out. Wind gusts were estimated near 60 mph. In the Kuttawa area west of Eddyville, county road crews were dispatched to clear numerous trees over State Roads 810, 93, 295, and 819.
At a campground near Barkley Dam, trees were blown down, along with numerous tree limbs. A tree limb punched a hole in a large metal building. A camper was blown over, and at least one camper was damaged by a falling limb. Access to the campground was blocked by downed trees. An uprooted tree took down a power line.
