Appalachian Power hopes power will be restored to 6,500 customers Wednesday evening | WCHS
UPDATED, 5:15 p. m. 4/27/22. A spokesperson for Appalachian Power said crews hoped to have repairs made and service restored by 6 p. m. Wednesday to 6,500 customers left without power. Power company spokesperson Phil Moye said the affected customers are located in the Elk River area from Charleston toward Clendenin.
