Ellendale Power Outages Caused by Weather
Events
Trees and power lines were knocked down on Shadowlawn Road in Bartlett near the Bartlett Freshman Academy. Trees were uprooted and snapped near Lakeland and shingles were blown off a roof.
Straight line winds knocked a tree down onto power lines at the intersection of Little John Road and Old Millington Road near Millington. Another large tree was split near Kirby Whitten Parkway and Ellendale Road in Bartlett. Power poles were also knocked down on Oak Road in Bartlett.
Straight line winds knocked down trees and power lines at Summer Avenue and Raleigh Lagrange Road. A large tree was knocked down just north of Stage Road near Appling Road.
Straight line winds produced damage between Ellendale and Arlington. Limbs with the diameter of a baseball were knocked down at the intersection of Summer Avenue and Appling Road. A tree was uprooted and a greenhouse structure was destroyed in Arlington. Power poles were knocked down in Arlington as well.
