Very strong winds blew down power lines and unroofed several residences. Assistance was required by American Red Cross and the Fabens Volunteer Fire Department.

Thunderstorm outflow winds were estimated at 60 mph in Fabens, and resulted in power outages and a few downed trees. Lesser winds (50 mph) further northwest caused some unsecured trailer homes to blow over into some power poles.
