Farmingdale Power Outages Caused by Weather
Events
A squall line of severe thunderstorms caused wind damage across eastern Monmouth County. The worst reported damage was in Eatontown where a large uprooted tree crushed a trailer near the bed. A woman had to be rescued from the trailer. A tree ripped a hole in the roof of the trailer next door. The same storm ripped siding from some other homes in the area. Downed trees and closed roadways were reported in Farmingdale, Wall and Neptune. Power outages because of downed wires occurred in Bradley Beach, Eatontown, Farmingdale, Howell and Neptune. Wind gusts of 61 mph and 60 mph were measured in Sandy Hook and Tinton Falls respectively.
