Tropical Storm. Hurricane Ian's slow movement and large wind field led to a long period of tropical storm force winds in Seminole County. Scattered reports of trees and power lines downed, as well as generally minor damage to roofs, awnings, fences, and pool enclosures due to strong winds, which surface observations indicated peaked between between 60 and 70 mph. There were no deaths attributable to the storm reported in Seminole County.

Also, local broadcast media relayed report of a large tree that fell onto power lines in a neighborhood in Maitland, and large tree branches downed near the intersection of Westchester Drive and Mount Vernon Parkway in Altamonte Springs.
