Fosters Power Outages Caused by Weather

Several trees and power lines were knocked down on Gainesville Road in the Fosters community.
A supercell thunderstorm moved across southern Tuscaloosa County causing considerable damage. The storm dropped hail from pea to baseball size. The hail fell across the southern areas of Tuscaloosa, Fosters, Ralph, Taylorville, and Duncanville. In the city of Tuscaloosa, one business, 22 apartment buildings, and 122 homes were damaged from the large hail. Across the southern parts of the county, numerous trees and power lines were blown down and many areas were temporarily without power. No injuries were reported.
A few trees and power lines were knocked down in Fosters and in Ralph.
