Widespread tree damage was reported between Fredericktown and Marquand. Numerous trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down. MODOT crews were called to clear tree debris from Highways M, J, W and D.
Thunderstorm winds blew down numerous trees, tree limbs and power lines between Fredericktown and Marquand. About 5 miles southwest of Fredericktown, a 3 foot diameter tree was uprooted. Also, a small portion of a roof was blown off of a barn. In Fredericktown, part of the roof of a business was blown off.

A severe thunderstorm dropped 1 inch hail and caused wind damage in the Fredericktown area. The hail accumulated up to 2 to 3 inches on the ground in some areas. Some power lines were downed in Fredericktown. Just east of town, several large trees were downed one of which fell on and damaged a mobile home. At the Fredericktown Intermediate School, wind tore off a roof of a modular classroom, knocked down 5 trees and smashed windows on three teacher's cars.
