Thunderstorm Wind. Dispatch reported multiple trees and power lines down between the 15th mile marker along Hwy 520 and Missouri River Road, just south of Cusseta.

Tropical Storm. A National Weather Service survey consisting of an analysis of measured wind data, along with reports from Emergency Managers and various other local, state and federal officials, found that tropical storm conditions occurred in the county. There were numerous reports of trees and power lines blown down and some damage to structures. Wind speeds were estimated between 45 and 50 mph.

Thunderstorm Wind. The Chattahoochee County 911 center reported multiple trees and power lines blown down across Ft. Benning, including along Louis Street, Marne Road, Dixie Road and 10th Mountain Division Road.

July 03, 2018

Tropical Storm. The news media reported many trees and power lines blown down across the county. A wind gust of 47 mph was measured at Lawson Army Airfield on Fort Benning. Some customers were without electricity for varying periods of time. Radar estimated between 2.5 and 4.5 inches of rain fell across the county with 4.34 inches measured at Lawson Army Airfield. No injuries were reported.
