A couple of severe thunderstorms developed in the early evening. Trees were blown down along Hwy 18 south of Gaffney and into northern Union county. Two camper trailers and one junked mobile home were blown over north of Union. Four trees were blown down on roads in Clinton and power outages resulted from lightning.
