Geronimo Power Outages Caused by Weather

May 18, 2019 - Tornado

A QLCS tornado destroyed two homes about three miles east of Geronimo. One home had most exterior walls collapsed while another house just across the street to the north had it's roof removed and many of the exterior walls collapsed. A few power poles were snapped and a tree was uprooted.

May 12, 2016 - Thunderstorm Wind

Power lines and power poles were downed. Roof damage was also reported at the elementary school. One mobile home was partially destroyed and another was pushed off its foundation.

April 10, 2016 - Thunderstorm Wind

Storm chaser reported power lines were down in Geronimo and sheet metal debris on the side of the road. Large trees and fencing were blown down and a travel trailer was blown over.

May 26, 2000 - Thunderstorm Wind

A power pole was downed.

March 28, 2000 - Thunderstorm Wind

Four uninhabited mobile homes were destroyed, and 2 other mobile homes were damaged. Two power poles were also downed.
