Per videos from storm chasers, a brief tornado touched down a few miles east of Grandview. During its brief time on the ground, it damaged power lines and a utility pole along with trees in the area. This is consistent with EF-0 damage caused by 65 mph winds.
A barn was unroofed, power lines were blown down, and several large trees were blown down.

The power has been off since 9:am this morning at the Walmart distribution center in Grandview. Delivery trucks are lined up for over a mile, and the stop lights from the freeway offramp are also out with people running through the intersections without stopping.
