Power Outage in Grayson, GA

The Gwinnett County Emergency Manager reported trees and power lines blown down across the eastern portion of the county from around the Tribble Mill Park area to Loganville.

The Gwinnett County Emergency Manager reported trees and power lines blown down from Lawrenceville across Grayson to Loganville. Trees and power lines were downed near the intersection of Webb Gin House Road SW and Memory Way SW with trees down across the road on Plantation Run Drive SW.

The Gwinnett County Emergency Manager reported numerous trees and power lines blown down across the county. Some locations include Castlerock Way at Blarney Way, Windward Lane, Whitegrass Way, Pleasant Hill Road, Hale Drive, Hewatt Road, Greenvalley Road, Applewood Road, East Morningside Drive, Slew Avenue and Lake Lucern Drive. Downed trees damaged houses and vehicles in the Lawrenceville area, Snellville and Lilburn.

The Gwinnett County Emergency Manager reported several trees blown down including one on a house on Nathan Court in Lilburn and one on power lines at Hillside Drive and Grayson Highway northwest of Grayson.

The public reported that more than 50 large trees were uprooted or splintered in the Harbin area of far east central Gwinnett county, near the Barrow county line. Many of these were large oak, sweet gum, hickory nut, and pine trees. Power outages were noted in the area that lasted well into the early morning hours of the next day.

The Gwinnett Daily Post of Lawrenceville and the public reported that a number of trees and power lines were down in many parts of the county, but especially in the Suwanee and Grayson areas. Much of the damage occurred in the Rivermoore Park Subdivision on Moore Road in Suwanee. Trees fell on a house on Fowler Creek View, causing extensive damage to the second floor of the home. Another tree fell on Suwanee Dam road taking down several power lines. Hutton Drive and Seth Way in Grayson were closed as the result of downed trees and power lines.
