Power Outage in Hertford, NC

Tree limbs were downed onto a power line off of Route 17 just south of Cartwright Swamp Road. Numerous power outages were reported in the area.

The tornado then tracked northeast into Pasquotank county from Perquimans county.

The tornado then moved northeast into Pasquotank county from Perquimans county.

Rain then mixed with snow, sleet, and freezing rain during the afternoon hours, with general accumulations of 2 to 4 inches reported. Winds gusting over 40 mph created some blowing snow and power outages. Specific county accumulations were: Chowan county 3 to 4 inches, Perquimans county 2 inches, Pasquotank county 2 to 3 inches, and Camden county 2 to 3 inches.
