Media reported multiple trees blown down on power lines in the Startown community.
Public reported a tree and power line fell on a vehicle and structure in the Hickory area. Spotter reported multiple trees down along I-40 east of Hickory.
County comms reported a tree blown down and blocking Snow Creek Rd NE and multiple trees and power lines down along Laurel Springs Dr, Lee Cline Rd, and County Home Rd.
County comms reported multiple trees blown down in the Hickory area and power lines down in Conover.
Spotters, EM, and media reported trees blown down on 18th St NE in Hickory. Additional trees and power lines were down along i-40 in the vicinity of Fairgrove Church Road, causing the interstate to be shut down briefly. Trees were also down on 4th St SW in Conover, with power lines down at Emmanuel Church Road and Highway 10.

Light freezing rain developed during the early morning hours across the foothills and southern mountains of North Carolina, producing light ice accretion on elevated surfaces. A few slick spots developed on bridges and overpasses before temperatures warmed above freezing later in the morning. The ice accretion did cause some isolated damage to trees and power lines.
High winds developed during the evening hours across the foothills, and far western piedmont, and continued through the overnight hours before subsiding during the pre-dawn hours. Numerous trees and power lines were blown down, resulting in quite a few power outages. At least one tree fell on a vehicle.
Scattered thunderstorms rumbled in the foothills, with a couple becoming severe during the late evening. A roof was blown off a trailer in the Green Creek community east of Columbus and shingles were blown off roofs in Shelby. Otherwise, numerous trees and power lines were blown down causing power outages.
A tree weakened by several storms and heavy rain the past couple of days, fell onto power lines late in the evening, after a thunderstorm produced gusty winds near 50 mph. Power outages resulted for several hours.
Isolated severe thunderstorms produced wind damage and dime to nickel size hail. Trees and power lines were downed from Catawba to Conover. A trained spotter reported a gust of 60 mph in Hickory.
