Thunderstorm Wind. Numerous trees were down around the county. Roads were blocked by fallen trees. At least one power pole was knocked down. Near Simpson, several oak trees from three to four feet in diameter were blown down.

Thunderstorm Wind. Widespread wind damage occurred around the county. Numerous trees and power lines were down, causing power outages. A tree landed on a home near Buncombe. Sheriff officials requested residents to stay off the roads due to the amount of tree damage.

Thunderstorm Wind. An area of scattered wind damage continued east from the Union County line through western Johnson County. Numerous large tree limbs and a few power lines were blown down. A few trees were blown down. The damage occurred west of Vienna, between Buncombe and Cypress. The maximum damage path width was one mile, but the average width was about one-half mile.
