Winter Weather. Periods of moderate to heavy lake effect snow accumulated to between 2 and 5 inches, with a report of 5.0 3 miles west of Plymouth. Visibilities were reduced to a quarter of a mile or less in heavier snow. The heavy, wet nature to the snow led to some downed tree limbs and brief power outages. Roads become slick and snow covered in spots, with reports of accidents and slide-offs in the area. School delays and closings were also reported.

Strong Wind. An INDOT mesowest recorded 51mph wind gust. Frequent gusts of 40 to 50 mph from west and northwest were observed into the early afternoon. These wind gusts resulted in instances of tree damage and subsequent power outages.

Thunderstorm Wind. Trees down across much of Marshall County, with a large portion across the northern end of the county along US 6. A couple of trees in La Paz fell and hit power lines that caused residential fires, but they were quickly extinquished.
