A thunderstorm moved across Dawson County and produced wind damage in Klondike. A snapped power pole was reported three miles west of Highway 137 on County Road 30. The cost of damage is a rough estimate.

Numerous power lines blown down and 4 inch diameter limbs broken by high winds.

Tornado touchdown between Klondike and Horton on FM 1520. The Fisherman's Motel and Marina in the Klondike area received major roof damage. Several homes had structural damage including roof damage from fallen trees. Residents of the area had no power, telephone service, or water for much of Sunday.
