Thunderstorm Wind. Emergency manager reported two trees were uprooted in town and blocking the road. A power pole was blown over, and some power lines were downed.

High Wind. A high wind gust of 58 mph was measured by the public 7 miles north of Arkansas City. Elsewhere across the county, wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph were common. Power poles were snapped 3 miles south of Udall and a roof was blown was peeled back 6 miles south of Douglass.

Ice Storm. Widespread power lines and trees were reported down across the county with Winfield and Arkansas City were the hardest hit. Tree limbs of 6 to 10 inches in diameter were downed and power was out a significant amount of time throughout the event. Up to one half inch ice accumulation was reported.
