Winter Storm. Although only minor accumulations were reported at this time, high winds combined with the snow to restrict visibilities to 1/4 mile and cause power to flicker. At 1004 AM CST, the public reported, via Facebook, winds estimated around 50 knots combined with heavy snow to cause a whiteout in Norwich.

An isolated severe thunderstorm that struck Southwest Kingman County just after mid-night from the 30th to the 31st packed a nasty punch when a location 2 miles southeast of Zenda was hit by an estimated 70 mph gust. The powerful winds knocked down several large branches of unknown diameters.

Thunderstorm Wind. A Fed Ex truck was blown in to the median along Highway 54. The driver was transported to the hospital. There were also 8 power poles south of Cunningham blown over.
