High Wind. Several reports of trees downed were made across Rowan County. At 11:45 AM EDT, a tree was reported to have been blown down along Old US-60 in the community of Farmers. At 11:50 AM, a tree was reported blown down onto KY-519 near Pelfry. Then between 1:00 and 1:30 PM, multiple trees and powerlines were reported to have been blown down in Morehead.

Thunderstorm Wind. A strong wind gust blew down a tree as well as power lines onto an outbuilding near the intersection of Hwy-60 and Bradley Hollow Road near the community of Haldeman.

Flash Flood. Rowan County Dispatch reported numerous instances of flash flooding south of Morehead. This includes near the Lockegee Rock area where a tree was downed due to flowing water. This caused a vehicle to become trapped by water prior to all occupants being rescued. Additionally, a tree downed by flowing water fell onto power lines, subsequently leading to an apartment fire closer to Morehead.
