High Wind. The ASOS in London, Kentucky, located at the London-Corbin Airport, reported the highest wind gust in eastern Kentucky, observing 70 mph at 6:21 PM EST. It's no surprise that mutlple damage reports were received throughout the county as well. ||These reports include:|At 1:00 PM EST - A trained spotter reported that trees and powerlines were blown down 1 mile SSW of the London-Corbin Airport. |At 6:15 PM EST - A public report was received of a tree that had been blown down near a home in East Bernstadt. |At 7:30 PM EST - The same trained spotter called back to report more pine trees had been blown down, and there was a large area without power 4 miles S of London.

Thunderstorm Wind. Trees were downed onto power lines along KY-490 in the 1800 block. Trees were also reported down on the railroad tracks in East Bernstadt.
