Several clusters of thunderstorms moved through northeast Louisiana on the afternoon and evening of July 13th. A number of these storms were severe and produced damaging wind gusts that downed trees and power lines. Large hail up to quarter size was also observed.

Thunderstorm Wind. A power pole was snapped north of Oak Grove. Scattered trees were also blown down around Oak Grove.

Winter Storm. Around 0.5 inches of sleet fell across the parish early in the day, transitioning to freezing rain during the afternoon. Accumulations of around 0.50 inches of ice downed trees and power lines and caused widespread power outages across the parish.

February 17, 2021

Tropical Depression. Tropical depression force winds from Hurricane Delta blew down widespread trees across the parish, and a power line was blown down in Oak Grove. A personal weather station on the east side of Oak Grove measured a peak wind gust of 42 mph at 1:10 a.m. CDT. Rainfall amounts of up to 5 to 8 inches were measured in the parish.
