Tornado. A tornado touched down near the intersection of Nursery Highway and Grand Bois Road. A storage building was destroyed and several homes received damage to awnings or roofs. Some of the debris was found up in the power lines. Further down the road a few trees fell down, and a single wide mobile home was flipped over and destroyed. Fortunately no one was home at the time. The maximum estimated wind speed was 110 mph.
