Precipitation started as rain during the afternoon of January 24th before changing over to snow during the late afternoon, with the snow then continuing into the morning of January 25th. Widespread snow amounts between 3 and 7 inches fell across the county. A public report of a measured storm total of 7.0 inches of snow was received from Lebanon, with a measured 6.0 inches in Conway. Roads became snow covered and slippery. Up to around 4800 power outages also occurred across the county due to the heavy snow. Some schools had early release on January 24th, with numerous schools closed on January 25th.
Multiple power outages were reported as power lines and poles were downed by high winds.

Episodes
Storms from the previous day left an outflow boundary along the Arkansas border that helped produce strong to severe storms during the afternoon of the 21st. A final round of storms moved into southeast Kansas and western Missouri during the late evening of the 21st into the early morning of the 22nd. Reports of hail to the size of quarters, wind damage to trees and power lines were received from Nixa to Rolla with the first round of storms. Isolated reports of flash flooding were received with the second and third round of storms from Howell and Newton Counties, where two to three inches of rain fell in a one to two hour period.

Thunderstorm winds produced widespread, but mainly light to moderate damage, in and around Lebanon.Several business signs were blown down. A plate glass window was blown out and doors were damaged at an unoccupied building on Elm Street. Trees and power lines were blown down. One tree fell and damaged a parked vehicle. Just northwest of the city, one yard lost 6 trees and a gazebo. Winds scattered plants and debris from an outdoor lawn and garden center.
