Thunderstorm winds blew down trees and powerlines, which landed on a truck along Route 219 near the Greenbrier County line.
High voltage power lines were blown down by thunderstorm winds, which shut down Interstate 64 for over an hour.
Thunderstorm winds damaged a porch on a house and one vehicle along Lesile Branch Road. Several trees and power lines were also damaged in and around the Quinwood area.

Episodes
An unseasonably warm and moist air mass in advance of a strong late spring cold front ignited scattered thunderstorms across southeast West Virginia. Lightning from one of the storms struck a power pole near Frankford and set it on fire, resulting in power outages for the surrounding area.
The gradient between building high pressure form the west and low pressure lifting off to the northeast brought high winds to Greenbrier County. Over a dozen reports of tree and powerline damage were received.
A complex area of low pressure tracked west of the Appalachians on the 25th and a cold front pushed across the mountains during the late morning. Winds behind the front were extremely gusty across much of the area. Damage was to trees and power lines.
Thunderstorm winds downed trees northeast of Lewisburg with power lines downed near the Greenbrier and Summers county line.
Thunderstorm winds knocked down about 100 trees and power lines in the southern portion of Greenbrier County. Some trees fell on cars and homes. One person suffered minor injuries when a tree fell on the car they were in.
