Winds from 75-85 mph were reported on NW 21st St. between Maize and Tyler Roads. A tractor trailer was overturned on K-96 at mile marker 282. Downed power lines and power poles caused power outages to perhaps 50 residences in extreme Northwest Wichita. Westar Energy and KSN Channel 3 contributed greatly to this narrative.
