Thunderstorm wind gusts were estimated at 80 m.p.h. at exit 190 on U.S. Interstate Highway 80. Telephone poles were blown down, while damage occurred to a roof of a building and many large trees. In addition, a home had minor damage and several power poles were blown down three miles southeast of Maxwell.
