March 29, 2014 - Thunderstorm Wind

As the squall line crossed southern Brevard County, damaging winds affected portions of Melbourne and Palm Bay and produced minor wind damage. Broadcast media relayed a photo of damage to the metal roof of a mobile home in the Lakewood Village subdivision in Melbourne. Two blocks away, a small portion of a roof on a single family home was peeled back. Power lines were downed from severe thunderstorm winds on Palm Bay Road west of Interstate 95.
