Numerous trees and power lines were downed across Central and Southern Sabine County. Trees were down on power lines, and power poles were leaning over.

Numerous trees were snapped and uprooted along Lakeshore Drive east of the town of Fairmont, Texas. Several powerlines were also downed on either side of Toledo Beach Drive. Maximum winds are estimated at 65-70 mph.

A complex of showers and embedded thunderstorms moved across East Texas, Southwest Arkansas, and North Louisiana during the morning and afternoon hours on May 26th. As these showers and embedded thunderstorms diminished from west to east, strong, damaging winds with gusts up to 60 mph associated with a wake low over Deep East Texas during the late evening hours downed numerous trees and power lines over Sabine County Texas and across portions of Northcentral Louisiana.

Nocturnal severe thunderstorms developed across Deep East Texas during the predawn hours of May 27th. These storms developed with the aid of a weak upper level disturbance and a residual outflow boundary from previous convection. These storms downed numerous trees and powerlines in Sabine County Texas, one of which fell on a home killing an elderly woman.

Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms developed across deep east Texas during the afternoon hours of September 6th. These storms developed in a very unstable airmass with afternoon temperatures in the middle to upper 90s. These storms had tall cores and when they collapsed...they produced strong wind gusts which mainly downed trees and powerlines.
