Milan Power Outages Caused by Weather
Events
The tornado crossed from Madison County into Gibson County damaging several outbuildings and knocking down numerous trees on Highway 152. Powerlines were down across Highway 152. The last area of damage was found off of Latham Chapel Road where several barns and outbuildings were damaged.
Up to one-half inch of ice resulted in widespread tree and powerline damage and power outages.
Numerous trees and power lines were knocked down from the Brazil area into Humboldt.
Numerous trees down across the county especially between Trenton, Humboldt, and Gibson. Multiple trees fell on houses and a tree fell on a car. Power lines were knocked down on US Highway 45W between Trenton and Humboldt.
Around one-quarter inch of ice accumulated on trees and elevated surfaces. A few trees and powerlines were knocked down with scattered power outages. Numerous tree limbs were broken and a few traffic accidents occurred.
