If your power remains out, contact the West Plains City Hall at 417-256-7176 Power Outage Traffic Reminder: In the State of Missouri, dark signals, or traffic signals that aren't working operate as a 4-way stop. 2:50 p.m. The power outage is not affecting customers of Howell Oregon Electric. 2:38 p.m. A one vehicle accident striking a powerline has caused a power outage in West Plains. The powerline seems to have started a fire near the transfer station on Old Airport Road in West Plains. Power is out for a large number of people in West Plains and Phone lines are being affected. Cody Sanders with the City of West Plains gave us this statement: "We've got lines down at the transfer station, utility and fire are on the scene. No further Details available." 2:32 p.m. Currently West Plains is experiencing a power outage. We are currently talking with the City of West Plains to understand the situation. Damage reported in Pope County after tornado warned storm moves through area | KATV

The Pope County Office of Emergency Management reported damage after a tornado warned storm moved through the area Sunday. The damage was being reported in the Martin Township area north of Dover, officials reported. Emergency responders were responding to start cleaning up the area and check on residents. Widespread power outages caused by freezing rain

Entergy Arkansas crews and contractors numbering some 1,600 were working to restore power to more than 27,000 customers across the state Thursday morning, due to outages caused by freezing rain and winds. The number of outages will fluctuate and likely increase as the storm continues to bring additional precipitation.
