A warm frontal boundary draped across central North Carolina on the 22nd was tied to an area of low pressure over the Great Lakes. This warm front moved northward during the day and early evening on the 22nd, resulting in a few isolated severe storms in Franklin and Nash Counties in central North Carolina. Several trees were reported down as a result of these isolated severe storms, causing some local power outages as well.
