Thunderstorm Wind. County comms reported multiple trees and power lines blown down in Waynesville, especially across the west side of town, including on Elysinia Ave, Pine Dr, and Hazelwood Ave.

August 30, 2018

Thunderstorm Wind. Trees and power lines were blown down in Clyde, Canton, and on 5th St in Waynesville. Trees were likely blown down all the way to the Tennessee border, though no reports were collected from these remote locations.

Thunderstorm Wind. Multiple trees were blown down along I-40 north of Waynesville. Multiple power lines were blown down and a tree was blown down on a house on Pigeon St in Waynesville.
